Bug Reporting

If you're experiencing a problem with one of our software products, please fill out and submit the following bug report form. You may also want to check out our list of known problems.

If what you want to tell us is really more of a suggestion or a request for enhancement, please use our suggestion form instead.

Bug Report Form

When you submit your bug report it will be logged on our database under the name of the client submitting it. Our support department will assess the problem and it will be assigned to the appropriate engineer. You may be contacted for further clarification. When the problem has been identified and resolved you will be contacted.

Periodically we will post notices regarding bugs reported by our customers in the known problems section of this page, and tips or workarounds on the FAQ page.

Please be as specific as possible when describing the problem.

  1. Which program are you using?


  2. What operating system are you using?


  3. Please enter a brief one-line description of the problem:


  4. If the problem is reproducible, i.e. occurs at the same place every time, please list the steps required to cause it, leaving a blank line between steps:

    (example: "1. Cow Occurrences 2. Calving ...")

    If the problem is not reproducible (only happened once, or occasionally for no apparent reason), please describe the circumstances in which it occurred and the problem observed:

    (note: it is much harder for us to fix non-reproducible bugs)

  5. If the problem causes any error messages to appear, please write down the exact text displayed and enter it here:

Known Problems

The following is a list of some known problems with our software; we are working to correct them for the next release.

  • Cattledata - Sales Report Print.   When the print option is selected in the Calf Occurrences - Sales Occurrence an error is reported. This has now been fixed the sort available from the download page.

 

  • Cattledata - SCP Heifer Print.   When the print option is selected in the Calf Occurrences - Premium - Suckler Cow Premium it will report an error and print one animal. The bug has now been fixed and is available from the download page.
 
  • Financialdata for Windows - Transaction Analysis.    In some early versions the analysis did not recalculate correctly if a line was deleted or amended. This has been fixed and the patch can be taken from the download page.
