The following amendments and enhancements have been made to CATTLEdata.

1. Animal Occurrences

i The options to claim Beef Special Premium, Slaughter Premium and
Suckler Cow Premium have been removed.

ii For Scottish producers the option to claim Beef Calf Premium has
been added.

iii If you are submitting Registrations or claims for Beef Calf Premium
electronically then it is no longer necessary to record the event
in Animal Occurrences first. (You can just go direct to the Mail
or CTSOnline option and do it there).

2. Maintenance Routines

i In Business Parameters the information relating to Beef Special
Premium, Slaughter Premium and Suckler Cow Premium have been
removed.

ii The Check for Claims at Startup and Print Bar Codes on claims flags
have been moved into the section called Premium.

iii For Scottish producers the option to enable Beef Calf Premium claims
has been added. The default setting of which is off.

3. Mail

i The options to do Movements by CTSOnline and Registrations by
CTSOnline have been moved into the section called CTSOnline (see 4i
below).

ii For Scottish producers the option to submit a claim for Beef Calf
Premium electronically has been added.

4. CTSOnline

i This section was previously called BCMS and now also contains the
options that were moved from the Mail section (see 3i above).

5. Reports

i The Beef Special Premium and Slaughter Premium Schedules and have
been removed.

ii For Scottish producers a Beef Calf Premium Schedule has been added.

iii The Check for Claims at Startup Report now only shows animals due
to be Registered, those approaching 16 and 30 Months, and for
Scottish producers animals due to be claimed for Beef Calf Premium.

Installation

1. Ensure you have an up to date backup of the application being updated.

2. Insert the CD into the CD-ROM drive. On systems with autoplay enabled, the
installation menu will be displayed. If this is not the case choose Start
and then Run and enter:

[d]:\setup where [d] is the drive letter of the CD-ROM.

3. On entry to the software you may be prompted to

i Enter your Activation Key. This is the number which appears on the
Certificate of Licence and Authenticity which was issued with your
last CD-ROM.
i Transfer the data from your existing program.
ii Run a conversion program.

4. Process Complete.
