Introduction

The following amendments and enhancements have been made to IACSdata/CROPdata mainly
to cater for the submission of IACS claims electronically.

1. Maintenance Routines

i In Business Parameters you can now specify the total Farm Size and Cropped
area.

ii The IACS classifications for Crop and Variety Codes have been revised.

iii The Farm Code in the Business Parameters and for each Holding has been
changed to be the CPH Number.

2. Field Records

i For each field you can now record whether they are eligible for Arable Area Aid.
In general fields that are in Permanent Grass are not eligible.

3. Field Events

i For each crop allocated you can now specify the following:

a. The Seed Type for Oilseeds.
b. The Management Option and Harvest Cycle for Set aside.

4. Mail

i The new section AAA Parameters contains the various IACS related items that
are required for submitting the IACS Claim electronically. Please refer to your
IACS documentation for further information about these parameters.

ii The Arable Area Claim option can be used to create the file containing
information about your IACS claim for importing into the SEERAD Website
https://sedsh04.sedsh.gov.uk (there are plans to do the English one later this
year).

5. Backups

i This has been changed and no longer makes use of the Backup Routines shipped
with Windows.

Be on the look out for disk errors. On no account ever ignore them. If messages appear which
you do not understand or do not know how to check, you should call for assistance. FARMdata
can accept no responsibility for users' actions.
