Introduction
The following amendments and enhancements have been made to DAIRYdata to allow for easier backing up of data.
We are now using a backup routine distributed with our programs. This means the same routine will work on any windows platform. Backups done on one version of windows can now be restored on any other version of windows.
To use go to File -> Backup data. A new screen will allow you to select which data you wish to backup, click next and the destination is selectable: the default is A:\DAIRYdata.zip, any other destination can be selected by type in the path or browsing to it. Click start and the backup will be started.
To RESTORE go File -> Restore Data. The Default is again A:\DAIRYdata.zip but any source can be typed in or browsed to.
Installation
Ensure you have an up to date backup of the application being updated.
If the update has been issued on CD-ROM:
Insert the CD into the CD-ROM drive. On systems with autoplay enabled, the installation menu will be displayed. If this is not the case choose Start and then Run and enter:
[d]:\setup where [d] is the drive letter of the CD-ROM.
If the update has been issued on floppy disk, choose Start and then Run and enter:
a:\setup
Before any files are copied you may be asked for an Activation Key. This is the number which appears on the Certificate of Licence and Authenticity which was issued with the last CD-ROM.
Process Complete.
If downloading the update from the Web go to To Install an update
