Dairydata Update
Software Release Notice 3

Introduction

The following amendments and enhancements have been made to DAIRYdata.

1. Animal Occurrences

    i For Slaughter Premium the criteria for eligible animals is now also dependant on
    the Cull Code used. Before doing a claim users will have select which Cull
    Codes are eligible for Slaughter Premium. This can be done in Maintenance
    Routines - Code Lists.

2. Mail

    i The text files created in Registrations by Email and Movements by Email no
l    onger overwrite the previous files created. The new names of these files are:

                                      Registrations    Movements
    Conformance Tests     PASS0000     MOVE0000
    Live Data 1                 PASS0001     MOVE0001
    Live Data 2                 PASS0002     MOVE0002

    ii When you save the animals in Registrations by Email and Movements by Email
    you can now obtain a printout of the contents of the text file.

    iii You can now send the text files created in Registrations by Email and
    Movements by Email directly from the program without going into your email
    and then attaching the relevant file. This make use of the settings in the section
    called Mail Parameters. Please refer to the online help for further information.

    iv The new routines of Registrations by CTSOnline and Movements by CTSOnline
    allow you to create a text file of Registrations or Movements for importing into
    the CTSOnline web site. The names of these files are as described in part i).

3. Reports

    i The Startup Report now shows Bulls that are due to be claimed.

4. Backups

    i This has been changed and no longer makes use of the Backup Routines shipped
    with Windows.
