POTATOdata has been developed to meet the needs of seed potato co-operatives that need to keep track of grower contracts.
Initial contracts ( variety, grade, contract number, field number ) are entered on to the system under the growers name, area and projected yield are entered. Receipts into stock at harvest are recorded, grading out-turn is entered. This gives saleable stock by variety, grade, and size. This stock can then be invoiced out to purchasers.
Reports of Stock at various stages can be printed. Sales by variety, grade, contract can be printed to give totals and averages. From these reports Pool Prices can be calculated.
When integrated with ACCOUNTSdata a complete integration to the accounting system for the company can be maintained.
The system runs in the Multi-User Unix environments.
