There are no significant changes in the PAYdata system for the 2008-2009 tax year. We have however addressed an issue to do with the changes to the 10% tax band. The update can be installed immediately.
An updated version of IRRdata, our end of year submission package, is required for the 2007-2008 process. This is issued to you on the same CD-ROM as this update. (See enclosed IRRdata SRN 2)
If you wish to use the P14/P60s that can be produced by PAYdata for your end of year submission the stationery reference is: P14(LaserSheet-Portrait)(2007-08). If you only need P60s (the employee copy) the stationery reference is: P60(LaserSheet-Portrait)(2007-08). The latter may be used in PAYdata or IRRdata.
Timing
The Update must be loaded before you update the Tax and NI Tables for 2008-2009. (See enclosed sheet). It may be loaded immediately.
Installation
Insert the CD and choose the PAYdata Program from the menu.

Users failure to keep adequate numbers of complete backup sets should, for whatever reason at whatever time, it prove necessary to resort to restoring a backup. Any work required on the part of FARMdata to “rescue” data etc, is chargeable under these circumstance.
