1. How do I do a backup ?

The backup routines are set into the programs. Go to File -> Backup data. The Backup routine should then commence. Follow the steps through the routine.

2. How do I create a Shortcut to the program on my desktop.?

You can create a Shortcut on your desktop by following these instructions.

Open My Computer on your desktop by double click. Open the C: drive->Windows->Start Menu->Programs->Farmdata. Right Click on the Shortcut you want and click Copy. Go back to your Desktop, right click on the background and click on Paste Shortcut.

3. How do I delete a business I no longer want?

You are now able to delete a business from within the program. Go into the business you wish to delete and select File -> Delete Business. Be very sure you want to delete the business as the data is unrecoverable. Make sure you back up before deleting.

4. How do I format a disk?

You should periodically format your backup disks. This minimises the chance of corruption if you have to restore. To do this go to My Computer, right click A drive and select Format. We recommend that you always do a full format.
